At HOPE, we believe in the power of parent-to-parent peer support.

We are a volunteer-run network of peer support groups for parents and guardians who share similar struggles, experiences, and concerns related to their teen or young adult child. Since 2008, we have served more than 1,300 parents.

  • Share your parenting-related struggles and concerns with a non-judgemental and empathetic group of parents who have had similar experiences.
  • Learn practical and effective parenting techniques, uncover new resources, and discover how other parents have learned to navigate similar challenges.
  • Strategize on a way forward for you, your young person, and your family.

In a recent survey, over 93% of our members said that they would recommend HOPE to other parents.

HOPE offers virtual support groups that serve parents throughout Ontario and is actively phasing in the re-opening of in-person groups that needed to be closed during COVID.

HOPE is always here when you need us. Our support groups meet weekly, year-round and membership is on a rolling basis. Parents who join also enjoy access to the Members Area of our website, where they will find tools to help them navigate community services and resources according to their needs.

We thank the following for their generous support to advance HOPE's Mission.
