HOPE Included in CAMH Mental Health Toolkit!
At the beginning of September, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health launched a brand new digital Mental Health Toolkit. This toolkit is chock-full with Canadian resources, including crisis support, older adult mental health supports, neurodivergent-specific supports and youth mental health supports.
The construction of this toolkit kept in mind how overwhelming and scary it can be to navigate the mental health system, especially for those who are in the midst of a crisis. CAMH designed their online website to be user-friendly, taking participants step by step through a series of questions to help them find the right kind of support.
Earlier this year, representatives from CAMH approached HOPE to request permission for them to include our services in their toolkit. Being hand-selected by one of Canada’s leading mental health associations is an incredible recognition of the quality and impact our services have had. We are delighted to see that our work is being affirmed by professionals in the community.
Take some time today to play around with CAMH’s Mental Health Toolkit! It is a fantastic resource to have on hand, whether you are encouraging a friend in need to use it, or keeping it in your back pocket for yourself in a time of need. Thank you CAMH for taking thoughtful steps in making mental health support accessible for everyone.
